It’s been reported recently that the European Union will ban visitors from certain countries, including the United States, once travel resumes into EU member countries on July 1st. Many countries have implemented travel restrictions and other measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Most known cast and crew attached to The Wheel of Time production reside in Europe. However, some live in the United States, most notably show runner Rafe Judkins and actor Daniel Henney, who plays Lan Mandragoran. Other notable people working on the project residing in the US include director Salli Richardson-Whitfield and show consultant Sarah Nakamura.
In a response to an inquiry by wotseries.com, Pavlína Žipková, the Head of the Czech Film Commission and the Czech Film Fund confirmed that filmmakers will not be affected by the travel ban imposed by the EU:
No US nor any other foreign filmmaker is affected. The ban is meant for tourism travellers only.
All foreign filmmakers are welcome in the CR. They receive the documentation proving their purpose of travel prior the journey issued by the Czech Film Fund.
WoT is scheduled to resume soon.

On WoT resuming production soon, this is in line with other reports from multiple sources including the agency responsible for supplying the show with extras, Extrafilms.
