For #WotWednesday, The Wheel of Time official social media accounts posted the first ever audio clip from the show. The sound clip was embedded into a video of the the ancient symbol of Aes Sedai forming as it rotates from water ripples. Two of the characters are conversing over what appears to be a fight or attack scene in the background:

Who Said What?
Speculation didn’t last long to try and figure out who the male and female characters where, as Madeleine Madden (Egwene) confirmed via an instagram post that it was her and Perrin (Marcus Rutherford):
Ready? Ready for What?
Showrunner Rafe Judkins weighed in shortly thereafter with a very enticing challenge:
Ready for what? Can you guess? If someone does get it right (posted in comments here within the next two hours), I will fly you to Prague and have dinner with you next year. Genuinely.
Wow. So I really thought no one would be close and I was 100% safe on my Prague offer because this is a moment that contains a detail not in the books that none of you could guess (wafo). But I was shaking in my boots as I read through these haha! And one person was off by only one word. It seems like a fun idea for a contest to come at some point though in a post-covid world. I’ll see if we can find a way to make an official one next year as I had really accepted halfway through reading these that one of you was going to be fully psychic ha.
Guesses and Reactions

Winternight screams mixed with dialogue from a different scene (escaping Shadar Logoth) to trick us maybe

Changing up my guess here. I’m going to say this is right before they leave Emond’s Field. Perrin isn’t quite ready to leave his life behind. Egwene is afraid too, but more sure than Perrin. The background sounds are Trolloc attack but not necessarily happening over the dialogue.

Jumping into the river to escape Trollocs after Shadar Logoth?

stepping through the way gate and the background noise is from winternight period

My speculative guess is that it is the scene where Egwene and Perrin are hiding from the Ravens on their way to the Stedding.

Unravelling the Pattern pointed out that the logo was mirrored:
This is amazing, but I hope you guys realize that the “ancient Aes Sedai” symbol or “yin yang” is flipped wrong. It should be a “69” with white on the left and black on the right. Give me a call if you want my help with future motion graphics!

We fixed it!
