Since the flood of information out of San Diego Comic Con last month, it’s been quiet on The Wheel of Time news front. However, recently two more cast members for season two of the Prime Video series have revealed their involvement: Darragh O’Toole and Lubna Kerr.
Darragh O’Toole
Darragh O’Toole is an Irish actor who has previously appeared as Romus in Foundation and Liam in Peaky Blinders. He will be appearing in season 2 of The Wheel of Time in a role credited as “Yann” or “Yan.” The spelling differs depending on the source, however, there is no character by either name in the books. O’Toole filmed in Prague during production of episodes 1 and 2, and again in November and December of 2021.
O’Toole recently made his theatre debut in “From a Low and Quiet Sea” at the Galway International Arts Festival.
Lubna Kerr
Lubna Kerr is a Scottish Pakistani actor, writer, comedian, and also clinical pharmacist by trade. On August 15, Kerr’s agency announced that she would be appearing in season 2, and a few days later, on August 20, Kerr herself announced her involvement on twitter. (Special thanks to our discord member @mtthgn for spotting the tweet and sharing it with us!)
Kept this secret for a year but now can share. You can see me in the second season of Wheel of Time on Amazon Prime. Tiny part but the experience was amazing. Hair and make-up in Prague and filming in Italy. I was treated like a queen. @BBCPolliemac@TheWheelOfTime @STVLaura

Kerr does not name her role, but said that it was “tiny.” She also stated that she filmed in Italy. Filming in the Puglia region of Italy took place in September 2021. Directors Thomas Napper and Sanaa Hamri were both in Italy, so it’s difficult to predict what part of the story Kerr could be involved in based solely off of this information.
Kerr is currently touring her semi-autobiographical, one-woman play “Tick Box,” and will be performing at the Edinburg Festival at Summerhall until August 28th.
Lover of fantasy and other geeky goodness.
