The third season of Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time has been filming in the Czech Republic since late April 2023. Since filming began, we have been able to identify a number of actors we expect to be a part of season three. Today, we can report we’ve identified another actor who will be part of the fantasy series: Luke Fetherston.
Luke Fetherson is a British actor who began his acting career with theatre roles on London’s West End. He began his career in film in 2018 and most notably had a leading role in Flowers in the Attic: the Origin, a limited series also starring Kelsey Grammar and Kate Mulgrew. Upcoming released include Big Mood starring Nicola Coughlan and Lydia West, and Apple TV+ series Still Up starring Antonia Thomas and Craig Roberts.
Fetherston was in Prague in late May of this year. His role in The Wheel of Time is unknown, though it seems to be a role that first appears in season three.
The second season of Prime Video’s adaptation will premiere later this year on September 1.
Lover of fantasy and other geeky goodness.
Wow… this guy really gives me Galaad vibes, don’t you think?
Yes! I can clearly see him as Galad.
So what affect has the Writers Strike had upon filming of season three ?
It appears S3 filming is ongoing. That’s about all we know at this point.
Can’t be Galad if he’s not in S2. My guess is Rahvin. He is giving Rahvin
Bit young and a bit white for Rahvin.
Oh, I hope we have our Asmodean.
If Caemlyn doesn’t show up until season 3, then Galad could make his first appearance then, too. And he could be half-brother to our Elayne. Doesn’t have the look of Rahvin to me, but wouldn’t be crazy.
It doesn’t matter if they are filming its still crap
IMO, they already made a fatal mistake in casting Jay Duffy as Dain Bornhald. I don’t remember Bornhald being hailed as particularly attractive in the books … and yet Galad’s beauty is one of his defining character traits. Duffy is SUPER pretty, I could totally believe 200+ year old Aes Sedai acting like teenaged girls when he’s practicing sword forms. I don’t get the same vibe from Luke Featherston. Just an opinion of course, it’s totally possible that IRL Galad just wouldn’t be my type regardless. 🙂
Tallanvor?
