This week, there was more excitement than news, given the positive reception of episode 5, Damane. Here’s the rundown:
- September 16th marked the 16th anniversary of Robert Jordan‘s passing and the fourth anniversary of the TV series’ first day of principal photography.
- Let’s start with our site review of episode 5 by Eri and Sara. We gave this episode a very high score!
- Aviendha: “Do you like to dance?” WAFO.
- The show’s second season was officially “Certified Fresh” by Rotten Tomatoes.
- The Wheel of Time is in the number one spot on prime in 84 of 115 countries reported on by FlixPatrol.
- Episode 5 of season two is currently the highest-rated episode on IMDb across both seasons. This also marks the first time three consecutive episodes receive an 8+ rating.
- On the casting front, Fares Fares‘ role on IMDb was updated to “Ishamael / The Dark One.” Hayley Mills and Adrian Bouchet have yet to have their roles revealed, each appearing in a single episode. Laia Costa is the last unconfirmed actor listed on our Wheel of Time Cast list.
