While fans wait for any official casting announcements for the next season of The Wheel of Time, we have identified two more actors we anticipate will be appearing in season 3 of the Prime Video series: Fredrik Wagner and Michael Lindall.
Fredrik Wagner is a Swedish actor and producer with over 40 credits to his name. Recent projects include miniseries The Playlist and film WarHunt. According to his CV, Wagner has been cast in a currently unspecified supporting role in The Wheel of Time. Thomas Napper is credited as the director.
In early June 2023, Wagner posted a video of himself in the process of taking a “lifecast” while prepping for his role in Prague. He returned in late June and early July to continue work on the show. If accurate, the crediting of Napper on his CV indicates that we can expect to see Wagner in episodes 3 and/or 4 of the third season. However, at this moment, we don’t have enough information to guess which storyline he may be playing a part in.
Michael Lindall is an actor who has previously appeared in shows like A Discovery of Witches, Call the Midwife, and Sex Education. He also has an upcoming role in the second half of the seventh season of Outlander.
Lindall was in Prague in late June of 2023 and again in October of the same year. It appears he may have filmed on the Two Rivers set, which means his character is likely involved in the storyline of Perrin returning to the Two Rivers to defend it. Additionally, recent photos with cast members Marcus Rutherford, Maja Simonson, and Ayoola Smart seem to indicate that he is close with a number of the Wheel of Time cast members.
It’s important to note that this is speculation on our part, but we do feel confident that Lindall will be on our screens for season 3.
New Cast for Season 3
As previously mentioned, no new cast for season 3 have been officially announced. However, over 25 new actors have been discovered, including: Olumide Olorunfemi (Ispan), Olivia Popica (Jeaine), Diêm Camille (unknown role), Olivia Williams (likely Queen Morgase), Nuno Lopes (unknown role), Shohreh Aghdashloo (Elaida), Callum Kerr (Galad), Luke Fetherston (unknown role), Rob McLoughlin (Jaq Lounalt), Isabella Bucceri (Faile), Jared Doreck (Jaichim Carridin), Paul A Maynard (Jac al’Seen), Raksha Hoost (Shaine), Tereza Duskova (Maigran), Ania Marson (Latra), Rebecca Root (Lelaine), Nukâka Coster-Waldau (unknown role), Björn Landberg (unknown role), Synnøve Macody Lund (unknown role), Thandi Sebe (Solinda), Clare Dunne (unknown role), Salóme Gunnarsdóttir (unknown role), Clare-Hope Ashitey (unknown role), Robert Strange (unknown role), and Carmela Bonomi (Jorin din Jubai). Rina Mahoney will be joining the cast as Marin al’Vere.
Additionally, we suspect the following actors are part of the cast, but have not been able to find confirmation: Iman Marson, Ian Atwiine, Ferdinand McKay, Kiren Kebaili-Dwyer, Diana Dulinkova, and Natasha Culzac.

I love this show! I am so excited about season 3! In fact I read the whole series this past winter. My daughter gave me most of the series for Christmas. I have thoroughly enjoyed the dialogue, the costumes,the sets, and the actors!

Thanks for the breaking news! It’s great to be kept in the loop during the long wait until season 3 finally comes to our screens. I love this TV series! I read all the books years ago, and I love to see a reimagining of the story. I know there have been complaints that the TV series strays too far from the books, but I think they’ve done a great job at rewriting it to fit into 8 seasons. Fingers crossed they’ll keep on going with the whole series! I’d hate to see it dropped halfway through 😊
I just watched Michael Lindall’s showreels on IMDB and with him rumored to have most likely been filming as part of the Two Rivers plot lines, being tight with actors including Marcus R and others integral to Perrin’s story…..as well as clocking in at 6’2”…….I’m really liking him for Gaul. Fredrik W on the other hand …….no idea?
