Amazon Studios just unveiled key art for the third season of The Wheel of Time ahead of the show’s anticipated appearance at CCXP24 in Brazil. The poster shows Rand surrounded by spears and carrying a woman, who is confirmed to be Moiraine in the Alternative Text attached to the image on social media. The AltText reads:
A photo of Rand al’Thor, Josha Stradowski, carrying Moiraine Damodred, Rosamund Pike, through a desert landscape. Text at the top reads “The Wheel of Time is blazing a new path for fantasy on television. – Vulture”. At the bottom there is The Wheel of Time and Prime logo.
One thing to note is that Rand’s right arm appears to show a dragon tattoo.

So looking forward to this. Loved the books, and if this is based on the Dragon Reborn and Shadow Rising, then this is where Rand and Perrin come in to their own path to destiny, and the path for Mat becomes .ore tangled. Hope we get to meet Faile and Gaul.

Don’t know how fans of the books can watch the show. Too much change for no reason. Had to stop before end of s1e2 it was so bad
Honestly that was the same for me and my partner. Theyve been reading the series for years and even after the first episode we decided to not continue cuz it was so bad. The added stuff, Perrins wolf powers stemming from the trolloc invasion, perrins fake wife.
I’m so sick of the same people complaining that they change so much it’s not like the books we’ll the books don’t look like the tvs but here we are some like books other like tv get over it we know you dont like the tv show but some of us do go read another book
Because the show is good. Adaptations are exactly that… adaptations. They ADAPT. It’s not the same storytelling medium, nor is it the same decade. Things have to change. So sorry the tv show doesn’t focus on all the bosom heaving and braid pulling the books did.
But the show IS good. Cope.

Are those of you that only got to one episode of season 1 you don’t know nothing Hey I’ve done a great Jon this series they pick great characters for all the roles You all don’t know what you’re talking about maybe you gotta go ahead and watch more and you’ll find out that you were wrong

As a person who has both read the series and watched the series… I find some of the changes annoying albeit the show is great if you treat it as a SHOW. Not a direct adaptation. The way the one power is animated is amazing. Seeing the world that Robert Jordan created in live action is awesome. I do want to see how they INTERPRET the series. Brandon Sanderson ( The author of the last 3 books) has stated that he gave some opinions for the show and they weren’t taken by the higher ups .. All that to say you just have to be able to separate the 2 and appreciate each for what they are.
