Prime Video released ten first-look images from Season 3 of The Wheel of Time, which will premiere globally on March 13, 2025. Some of these images reference scenes from the official teaser trailer, while others are new scenes that will surely be subject to fan speculation.
Made Us Wistful

Josha Stradowski (Rand), Marcus Rutherford (Perrin) and Dónal Finn (Mat). Photo: Prime Video.
It’s so good to see Rand, Perrin, and Mat together again—and happy. It’s a heartwarming callback to the trio in the Winespring Inn during the show’s very first episode. This warm picture is one to savor, knowing that the Pattern will take them on different paths in the fight against the Shadow.
Made Us Shiver

Natasha O’Keeffe as Lanfear. Photo: Prime Video.
Daughter of the Night returns to dazzle. Whoever it is on the other side of that stare, Lanfear is sure to have her work cut out for her, navigating a world with the other Forsaken lose while trying to help Rand.
Made Us Anticipate

Ceara Coveney (Elayne), Madeleine Madden (Egwene), and Zöe Robins (Nynaeve). Photo: Prime Video.
In this stunning shot, we see Elayne, Egwene, and Nynaeve as battle-ready as one could imagine. It’s unclear which part of the story this moment belongs to or the circumstances surrounding it. Given that this is The Wheel of Time, anything is possible—whether it’s Tel’aran’rhiod (the Dream World), a testing, or the waking world.
Made Us Cheer

Ceara Coveney (Elayne) and Ayoola Smart (Aviendha). Photo: Prime Video.
This photo gives us hope that Elayne and Aviendha develop a bond that sees them through their journey together and their relationship to the Dragon Reborn.
Made Us Anxious

Sophie Okonedo as Siuan Sanche. Photo: Prime Video.
During the Prime Experience in 2024, Showrunner Rafe Judkins described a scene where we have “just a bunch of women in their 40s and 50s shredding each other, and it is wonderful to behold.” We can’t tell for certain if this photo of a fierce-looking Siuan channeling is from the “shredding” sequence, but we worry for Siuan and our other favorite Aes Sedai.
Made Us Intrigued

Olivia Williams (Morgase) and Shohreh Aghdashloo (Elaida). Photo: Prime Video.
By the Grace of the Light, Queen of Andor, Defender of the Realm, Protector of the People, High Seat of House Trakand, Queen Morgase, accompanied by her long time advisor, Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, Elaida Sedai. Here they seem to be in the halls of the White Tower in Tar Valon. This photo also serves as a reminder of the genius of Costume Designer Sharon Gilham.
Made Us Wonder

Dónal Finn (Mat), Zöe Robins (Nynaeve) and Kae Alexander (Min). Photo: Prime Video.
Mat, Nynaeve, and Min are shown in a crowded space, presumably Tanchico. Mat’s wardrobe change is a welcome update, and his likely focus on the hat is an undeniable highlight.
Made Us Marvel

Rosamund Pike (Moiraine). Photo: Prime Video.
This close-up features Moiraine holding a glowing sphere, likely an Angreal or Sa’angreal, from a scene shown in the Season 3 teaser trailer. Since we can’t recall a direct parallel to this moment in the book series, we’re especially excited to find out what Moiraine is doing here. And let’s not overlook that incredible top!
Made Us Proud

Josha Stradowski (Rand) and Daniel Henney (Lan). Photo: Prime Video.
When we interviewed Daniel Henney for Season 2, he mentioned that we should expect to see more sword forms in Season 3. This particular photo carries great emotional weight. Rand needs guidance, a mentor, and perhaps a father figure or older brother, especially now that he is far from Tam and burdened by the weight of the world on his shoulders. We are very much looking forward to this scene.
Made Us Remember

Nukâka Coster-Waldau (Bair), Synnøve Macody Lund (Melindhra), Daniel Henney (Lan), Björn Landberg (Rhuarc), Josha Stradowski (Rand), Rosamund Pike (Moiraine) and Salóme Gunnarsdóttir (Melaine). Photo: Prime Video.
This appears to be the same scene as the Season 3 teaser trailer shot featuring Rand, Moiraine, Lan, and the Aiel overlooking the city of Rhuidean, but from a different angle. It’s exciting to see the newly-revealed Aiel cast members in costume: Nukâka Coster-Waldau as Bair, Synnøve Macody Lund as Melindhra, Björn Landberg as Rhuarc, and Salóme Gunnarsdóttir as Melaine. For book readers, Nukâka in Wise One attire closely resembles how one might imagine Amys to look.
All episodes of the first two seasons of The Wheel of Time are now available on Prime Video. Season 3 premiers on Prime Video on March 13, 2025.

Thank you so much for your hard work, peeps! Such a joy to see this all on the screen.
Love the new pics! Some of them make me very curious as what is going on
In the shot of Mat, Nynaeve and Min, they aren’t looking at the man in the hat but rather seem to be looking at someone behind him..but who ? Hmmm.,
