The trailer announcement was accompanied by a new poster, filled with season 3 characters. Prominently featured in the poster is Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor. This is in line with Season 3 being the season where Rand takes over the lead from Moiraine, played by Rosamund Pike, who stands right behind Josha in the poster.
Also appearing in the poster are Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara, Zoë Robins as Nynaeve al’Meara, Natasha O’Keeffe as Lanfear, Madeleine Madden as Egwene al’Vere, Dónal Finn as Mat Cauthon, Kate Fleetwood as Liandrin Guirale, Daniel Henney as al’Lan Mandragoran, Sophie Okonedo as Siuan Sanche, Ceara Coveney as Elayne Trakand, Ayoola Smart as Aviendha, Hammed Animashaun as Loial, Priyanka Bose as Alanna Mosvani, Meera Syal as Verin Mathwin, Kae Alexander as Min Farshaw, Fares Fares as Ishamael, and Laia Costa as Moghedien).
We announced these returning characters in December, but seeing Fares Fares on the poster was still a nice surprise!
