Welcome to the first of EIGHT social recaps of The Wheel of Time on Amazon Prime’s highly anticipated third season. “What is a social recap?” you might ask. We outline the scenes in each episode and then comb the internet for open posts from community members who are reacting to the show in real time. The result is essentially a crowdsourced, text-based version of a reaction video, and I know how this community loves reaction videos!

Before you say that this concept seems familiar, it is! When Game of Thrones was in its heyday, the “wotseries.com” of that show created similar recaps from Twitter posts. Seeing the joy, triumph, shock, sadness, and horror of my fellow community members wrapped into such a tidy package brought me and many others so much happiness that I asked for the original creator’s blessing (no, not THAT one) to replicate the concept for The Wheel of Time.

I think I am in the minority, in that I am hoping that Siuan and Moraine don’t get back together.  I don’t hate Siuan, but what she did to Moraine last season was messed up.

She waltzes back to the Inn only to find she’s being watched by Aviendha, bored out of her gourd without the potential Car’a’Carn to follow around.
